The Kaduna State Executive Council has approved the draft budget of the 23 local government councils in the state. The draft budget, which requires the approval of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, has a total size of N38.24bn. Capital expenditure accounts for N11.21bn, up from the 2015 figure of N8.63bn, while the recurrent provision of N27bn is down from the N44.98bn proposed for 2015.
